Healthy Lifestyles day

Everyone had a fabulous time on Healthy Lifestyles day! The children had three workshops to try. One was all about healthy eating - they learnt about different food groups and how each type of food helps our bodies, using games and discussions. Next was an opportunity to try out Pilates - the children thought this was great: it really made them concentrate and relax at the same time! Finally, they had a go at new age kurling - a variation of the Winter Olympic sport in which they slid kurling stones (on wheels) across the floor to try to get them to land in the target zone. Thanks to Mrs Mott for organising this fun event!
