Children in Need
Spots were definitely 'in' at Fen Drayton on Friday 18th November, as we celebrated Children in Need day with some fund-raising events! Children had been busy all week working on their entries for the colouring competition. School councillors judged the event, looking for neatness and originality, and they picked some great winners from over 60 entries. First in Maple class was Rosie, whilst Ash class's winner was Alice. Ethan's entry was the best in Willow class and Meg won the competition in Oak class. Well done to everyone who entered! Children also dressed up in spotty clothing, played 'Hunt the spot' in the front meadow (two spots remain un-found - perhaps they will turn up in the Spring!) and took part in spotty relay races at lunchtime. The PTA finished off the day with a delicious cake sale. Altogether we raised over £200 for Children in Need! Congratulations and thanks to everyone who contributed.
